How traumatic experiences of ancestors can affect the life of their offspring?

Updated: May 11, 2024

Every day I discover an interesting article about epigenetics, or how traumatic experiences of ancestors can affect the life of their offspring. These scientific foundations can not only serve as an understanding of what we are trying to do in family constellations, but will also help you understand why this is the case, whether it can be changed or how it can be worked on.

I have been following Dr. Rachel Yehuda, since I discovered a magic of family constellation, because I always wanted to know how trauma can be transmitted to another generations. Science of epigenetics had that answer for me. She’s a pioneer in understanding how environmental and behavioral experiences can transmit effects at a cellular level and across generations.
